Disappointing Service and Underwhelming First off, I understand that there are no guarantees deep sea fishing. The crew did the demo, got us out to sea and we trolled for 4 hours. Promised they would use live bait to catch fish to use to catch a bigger fish…even showed us the live bait…but the live bait never made it to the line. Needless to say we got nothing except a few tours of the bay and everyone caught up on their sleep. Cost was over $800 for four of us. The cherry on top was when I could hear the captain bad mouthing us for not tipping… Dont waste your time with these guys. Literally bait and switch.

This was mostly a sight seeing expedition. If you’re expecting tuna or any type of fish for that matter, map out the nearest subway sandwich spot. Nice guys, poor execution. Our first clue was the look on the peoples faces from the morning trip. Then there was the cherry on the cake, they requested a tip 😟

I’ve taken 15+ fishing charters before and this one was perhaps the most underwhelming. The boat arrived almost 45 min late. We got there 15 min to be early, so that meant waiting around for an hour for the am trip, which we got up very very early for. Captain and deck hand weren’t even trying. They spent 4 hours mostly playing on their phones and chit chatting between themselves rather than scouting fish or accommodating guests. I wasn’t as much even offered a water for 4 hours. We were skunked with the exception of a baby 12” tuna that the guide threw back. At the conclusion the guides didn’t express the least bit of concern at an overall bummer day of getting start late then getting skunked. The entire operation felt very automated. Get the folks loaded up, troll for 4 hours and largely ignore the guests, then drop them off with a quick goodbye and load up the afternoon group to do it again.
