Despite being an SD native, I wanted to learn more about the history of our city! I was excited to see that So Diego added La Jolla to their tour list and had an incredible experience with the group. First off, Todd is a great host who made sure we got quality experiences at the restaurants and sightseeing places in La Jolla. We really enjoyed talking with him and learning more about the town’s history, famous celebrities, and best things to do here. The food and drinks were off the charts as well! We went to three local restaurants that left us feeling happy (and tipsy). My favorite was the tacos and margaritas as Puesto’s that was well-balanced and thoughtfully crafted. I highly recommend joining So Diego’s tours, regardless if you’re visiting the city for the first time or a local. I’m definitely interested in trying their other tours that cover Old Town and Gaslamp, which I’d imagine is just as great.

Thank you so much for the great review! We are always excited to have locals on our tours, because when you live here, the last thing you think to do is "touristy" things, but San Diego IS a touristy destination for a reason...we hope to see you on another tour very soon!

I just went on the La Jolla Village walking food tour with two friends, and I have to say, it was a really great experience. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and he took us to some amazing restaurants and a gallery that we never would have found on our own even being locals. We got to sample some delicious food and drink, and we learned so much about the neighborhood. The ice-cream shop at the end of the tour was the perfect way to cap off a fantastic afternoon. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to have a good time. Remember to come hungry!

My girlfriends and I had such a great time on this tour! The food was delicious and had a broad variety - from pasta to tacos to pita and hummus! Our guide was very knowledgeable of La Jolla history and we learned a lot. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the La Jolla area or even locals looking for some new restaurants to try!

Thank you for joining us! We agree...all of our tours are a great way to get out and try something different. All of the places we go to are local, San Diego owned and operated restaurants, and the owners take pride in offering a taste of their menus.
