Whether you are a St. Louis local or a visitor from out of town, you will find this tour outstanding! Tour guides are very knowledgeable, mixing human interest stories with interesting local history. Would highly recommend!!

This past weekend we went on the Landmark Association's walking tour of the western part of downtown St. Louis. In the past, we have also taken their walking tours of the east of downtown and of Washington Avenue. Though we live in St. Louis and walk downtown a lot, the tours have helped us to see and appreciate the style and amazing architectural detail of the many beautiful buildings that downtown St. Louis contains. We also enjoy learning more about the history of the city itself, as it's reflected in its architecture. The tour guides we had for the west tour, Warren and Sharon Hoffmann, did an exceptional job of explaining St. Louis' complicated civil rights history and the proud history of its women. Also, as long-time residents of St. Louis, they were able to give recommendations of activities, restaurants, and places of interest to the out-of-town members of our tour. For tourists, the 2 hour tours are a wonderful introduction to St. Louis city, and for area residents, they are a great way to spend a Saturday morning reacquainting yourselves with your remarkable city. We highly recommend them!

I’ve been on many walking tours before, and this one might top them all! Warren and Sharon were not just knowledgeable, but super pleasant and fun to hang out with for a couple of hours. The tour was dynamic, interactive, and exciting - and Sharon and Warren know many people who work at the different stops along the way, so they’re even able to give you a special “VIP” experience (I won’t give away the surprise!). If you’re going to St. Louis, this tour is a must. Thank you again!
