Leavenworth is home to the Nutcracker Museum, which houses an incredible collection of more than 7,000 nutcrackers from around the world, dating from prehistoric to modern. Stop in, and you will be amazed at how many ways a nut can be cracked!

Deception Falls
Deception Falls is a great stop for a quick stretch of the legs as you drive over Stevens Pass. The highlight is the tumbling, multi-tiered waterfall and its distinctive 90 degree turn the creek makes at a stop along the way.

It was an excellent tour which I'd highly recommend to everybody. I was picked up at the hotel around 9:30 am and was dropped off around 6 pm. Water and snacks were provided. Van was comfortable, driver/tour guide Farshid was very nice: responsible and knowledgeable and an awesome driver. 3,5 hrs from Seattle to Leavenworth with several stops, including Big Foot coffee shop, Tumwater Dam, Eagle Falls on Skykomish river, Deception Falls. Tumwater Dam on Wenatchee river. Then we had 2 hours in Leavenworth, where you can buy souvenirs in multiple souvenir shops, and dine Bavarian style food. Suggestion: first eat, then shop, as there are lines to get to some restaurants. Horse ride is expensive but seems like everyone was enjoying it. On the way back to Seattle we stopped at Stevens Pass ski resort. It was a fay full of impressions, no regret or disappointment at all. I'd go there in summer time as well, however I think there are way too many tourists in summer time and you won't be able to enjoy tranquility of nature.

If you’re looking for a guide who knows all the best places, keeps the trip entertaining, and genuinely cares about making your experience memorable, Slav is the one to go with! Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Seattle and wanting to explore beyond the city. Beyond the scenic spots, he kept the journey fun and engaging, always making sure we were comfortable and had plenty of opportunities to take in the views, snap photos, and soak in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. By the time we arrived in Leavenworth, we had already experienced so much, making the entire trip feel like a full adventure rather than just a simple drive.
