We took our two kids, 11 and 3 to visit on a rainy Saturday. I bought tickets online and was given a time to be there. We showed up about 20 minutes before our scheduled time and there was nobody in line, we walked right in. There are a couple of rides that the kids can do, but there were lines for those. The room with all the replica lego models was very cool and was fun to look at all the details. The kids enjoyed playing with the large lego blocks and doing the other activities in the main room, but i felt like my 11 year old got bored quick. All and all we spent about 2 hours in the exhibit, but felt like the cost of the ticket was a little higher than the value we got.

Yes-you should go if you have kids. They do have a sign saying you need a person 18 years or younger to be admitted so sorry adults who likes Legos and don’t have a kid to go with. Admission-plenty of discounts and coupons to be found online just do your research so you don’t have to pay full price! Knocked off about $20-$30 off the admission total for 4 people with a buy one get one free admission. Parking-we accidentally came on the Irish Fest which added to the foot traffic, but it didn’t affect our trip too much. Parking is free on weekends at the Crown Center parking garage attached to Crown Center. Activities-as an adult I loved the rides Kingdoms Quest and Merlin’s Apprentice. As kids-they reported the playground area. If you’ve ever been to Crayola Experience or Sealife, there are aspects of this Legoland discovery center that is similar to that layout/attraction. Also, Sealife attraction is next to Legoland and is operated by the same staffs. If you’ve never been to Sealife either, I would recommend getting a combo ticket to go to both with your kids. They take your photo before you’re admitted and give you a ticket to come look at it at the end for souvenirs. They’ll have stations where you go and build things or games where you go to play and a few rides, a place to eat, and the play area. They have places throughout that you can stamp your little activity book if you bought one to do. Kids like loved it, but I wouldn’t go again. It’s a one and done attraction so make the most of it while you’re there with your kids. Gift shop-probably more varied here than at your other stores, but is couple dollars more for some of the sets. I saw the same lego set my son had here which was a couple dollars more than I bought it for from a department store.

Our family (two adults, three kids, 12, 10, and 8) visited in the middle of August, 2019. The facility was clean and well laid out. The cost wasn't bad for the time spent (if you like aquariums, I would recommend the combo-pass to visit the Sea Life Aquarium which is in the same building). There were a lot of activities, and most of them were included with the admission. One of the rides was closed for repairs, but those things will happen. There are things to do for adults as well as kids (if you like Legos, of course). They do have a gift shop between you and the exit, so be prepared to blindfold the kids or open the wallet. All in all, an enjoyable site to visit, and it will easily take a couple hours or more of your time.
