As a child , every holiday and birthday I dreamed and asked for a Lego set. To be able to experience this attraction in real life, with such convenience was a absolute dream! My inner Lego fan girl was definitely awakened!!!!!!

I love everything Lego - until now. Admission was expensive and my kids were entertained for only about a half hour, 15 minutes of which was a climbing area that had nothing to do with Lego. Main display was neat and the one ride was decent (albeit approximately 4 minutes). Movie was dated. Sure, there were some building areas but we can do that at home for free. The store area was roughly half the size of the entire exhibit area. Lego is never a bargain but the quality usually makes up for it. This experience fell very short and I am almost surprised that Lego would put their name to something so subpar.

For starters if you have been to Legoland before and do not know what Legoland Discovery Centers are, do not go here with the Legoland "theme park" mindset as we did. Despite reading and seeing the pictures of the venue, we couldn't help coming here with the Legoland theme park expectations from our great experience at Legoland Deustchland. The venue is quite small, and our children were approximately 4 and 1 at the time of our visit. With that being said, a lot of the exhibits did not necessarily garner their interest due to number "hands-on" activities available. Ultimately, our family are fans of Legos which helped with our enjoyable experience here at the Legoland Discovery Center, after some of the initial disappointment wore off. We found the interactive ride very enjoyable and recommend it to anyone coming here - it is probably the best part of this venue. There is also a small theater and playground available. Definitely good for a rainy day, but arguably good for any Lego fans.
