Our expert tour guides will navigate your through the historic Village of Lewiston. On our three hour tour we will learn about the rich history of this quintessential small town. You will learn about Lewiston’s role on the Underground Railroad, the War of 1812 and even its ties to the Mafia! Lewiston is also known for its amazing restaurants. There are over 30 restaurants in a half mile radius! We will stop at “mom and pop” shops, waterfront eateries, chef owned restaurants, bustling coffee shops and much more. At each stop we will sample generous portions of food (along with drink pairings at 2 stops), enough for a filling lunch!

Nous nous arrêterons dans des boutiques "maman et pop", des restaurants au bord de l'eau, des restaurants appartenant à des chefs, des cafés animés et bien plus encore. À chaque arrêt, nous dégusterons de généreuses portions de nourriture (ainsi que des accords boissons à 2 arrêts), assez pour un déjeuner copieux !

I have been to Lewiston - probably over 100 times between Artpark, festivals, dinners, getting my haircut and trips with my family for guilty pleasures at the Village Bake Shop. I expected this to be simply a fun and different way to spend an afternoon with girlfriends and 'simply fun and different' does not describe this fantastic tour! I can not speak more highly of the entire experience. The tour is almost choreographed, but you don't feel rushed. There is a balance between tastings of food, desserts, coffee/tea, and alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages; with historical stories and stops; and walking to space out the tastings which were of high quality and variety. They did consider my food allergy that I apprised them up while signing up. The walking is not rigorous but because Lewiston is an escarpment - there is a hill between your car and some stops which could be a challenge for some people, (but the pace is not swift.) I enjoyed the food, the stories and the architecture. In some cases-we met owners. Unexpectedly, the Lewiston Museum was opened specifically for us to do a brief walk through while they were closing for winter. I can't specify my favorite part, but I do look forward to returning to the restaurants I was introduced to and want to do their Prohibition Tour next!

Chris and Alicia Tepas have designed a marvelous walking, eating and drinking tour of this lovely village. They mix just the right amount of historical information with bites and drinks at some of the best places in town. The food was by and large delicious, and it was a delight to match them tapas-style, as the Spanish do, with a small beer or glass of wine. Alicia was an ace guide. Highly recommended!

Rita the tour guide along with her husband, the ex-mayor of Lewiston, shared their immense knowledge of the History as well as personal recommendations. I will take this tour again as well as the Prohibition tour offered!
