The Roaming Table

Our expert tour guides will navigate your through the historic Village of Lewiston. On our three hour tour we will learn about the rich history of this quintessential small town. You will learn about Lewiston’s role on the Underground Railroad, the War of 1812 and even its ties to the Mafia! Lewiston is also known for its amazing restaurants. There are over 30 restaurants in a half mile radius! We will stop at “mom and pop” shops, waterfront eateries, chef owned restaurants, bustling coffee shops and much more. At each stop we will sample generous portions of food (along with drink pairings at 2 stops), enough for a filling lunch!

Nos guides touristiques experts vous guideront à travers le village historique de Lewiston. Nous nous arrêterons dans des boutiques "maman et pop", des restaurants au bord de l'eau, des restaurants appartenant à des chefs, des cafés animés et bien plus encore. À chaque arrêt, nous dégusterons de généreuses portions de nourriture (ainsi que des accords boissons à 2 arrêts), assez pour un déjeuner copieux !

We had family members visiting from several locals. This tour was great for all even though we split into two groups. It was fun to compare notes. Alicia and Christopher are wonderful tour guides. It was like taking a stroll with friends. They took an interest in each of us and shared some of themselves. Their knowledge of the area was full of interesting tidbits and we learned new things about this historic village. This tour is great for newcomers to the village and locals. It was a great afternoon and we would do it again. The food tasting at several restaurants was delicious and complemented the tour.

We had a tour yesterday of food tasting and Historical Places...Chris and Alecia were fabulous...This was beyond my expectations...the restaurants were all very good and the knowledge of the area was excellent! Never knew we had so much history so close to where I grew up. Great Day...will do again next year with guests from out of town...

A group of friends drove from Rochester, NY (70 miles) in two cars to spend the day in Lewiston, NY...a quaint spot along the Niagara River. From 1-4 pm, the 8 of us were thoroughly entertained. It was the perfect blend of walking tour, learning about the local history (War of 1812 and Lewiston's role in the Underground Railroad), with nicely timed stops enroute to enjoy some of the incredible local food, drink along the way. If we had gone to one of these establishments, it would have been incredible. But we got to experience 6 different places; each was unique and delightful. What a great way to enjoy a group of friends, and to experience a unique destination. On our way home, each of us talked about returning for another tour with another group of friends or family. It was fabulous, and I will definitely be back for another Roaming Table Tour. Bravo Chris and Alicia. Thanks so much for what proved to be a true highlight of summer 2014!
