Join our special Springtime tour of the magnificent Longwood Gardens!

Nestled in the picturesque countryside of Philadelphia lies this dazzling display of flowers, plants and trees. Leave the driving to your guide as they escort you in our spacious and comfortable van down into the Brandywine Valley.

On the ride down, your guide will discuss the history of the area, and how this section of Southeast Pennsylvania saw the birth of the Dupont family legacy. It was a DuPont descendent who would create today's Longwood Gardens.

We will arrange for your entry into the gardens, and once inside, you’ll be able to stroll around the site at your pace. You won’t believe your eyes as you explore the meticulously manicured grounds, or when you enter Longwood’s breathtaking conservatories. The fountains will leave you awestruck as the water dances to music.

After a couple of hours in the gardens, your guide will then escort you back to Philadelphia, capping off a fantastic day!

About an hour out of Philly, this is a must see. We took a tour which included the ride from Philly to Longwood Gardens and a fabulous walk-through, through the gardens. Our guide Dale (sorry, don't remember the last name) was fantastic. So knowledgable and personable. You can tell he really loves doing what he does! The gardens are 1000+ acres, so he made it a point to show us the highlights. We also had time to explore on our own. The gardens are beautiful, especially the fountains which at several times throughout the day are put to music. The conservatory is where we spent our "on our own" time and it was just phenomenal.

Yes, we agree, Longwood Gardens is a definite must see! Just a quick, comfortable ride from Center City Philly in one of our spacious vans and you are in the midst of one of the best gardens in the country.

Our guide Dale was fantastic. He was knowledgable and very personable. He made our tour a lot of fun. The Gardens are beautiful, the fountains are magnificent, and the conservatory is a must-see. We traveled in October so the colors were phenomenal.

Thank you Roslyn! October is an amazing time of the year to see Longwood (truthfully, there isn't a bad time, but Autumn is especially brilliant).

I wrote my first-time Tripadvisor review for this tour because both the place and experience deserve more attention. The garden is gorgeous, striking a harmonious balance between natural and human creations: flowers, plants, birds, fountains, greenhouses, and more. Adam's rich knowledge of history and storytelling also added more colors to these stunning views. Although only I booked on that day, he kept the trip and showed equal passion and patience when introducing the sites and answering questions the whole time. If you'd like a hassle-free time with the nature near Philly, this tour is a great option. Look at my pictures!
