Please wear comfortable shoes for this 600 meter trip. Lower Antelope Canyon Tours has smaller group sizes and the guide stays with you during the entire tour, sharing information about the geology, history, and Navajo Traditional ways. The Lower Antelope Canyon tends to be less crowded than the Upper Antelope Canyon and is preferred by many because of its narrow canyon walls and ladders that take you to the levels that have been carved by flash floods from the upper mesas. The sandstone walls are exquisitely formed, and the Lower Antelope Canyon offers a longer canyon exploration.

Simply amazing - some stairs/ladders to climb up/down - the middle of the day is best as the sun is in the right spot - just spectacular

Our tour guide was so great. Melaney Earl. Highly recommended. She shared her heritage and help us take great pix. These guides deserve 10% tip rather than $3. I was happy to tip the check in person -Alex for letting us go in with earlier time slot. Love the tour. It much longer and more beautiful than the Upper Antelopes Canyon..

Such a cool experience for this first timer. I’ve never seen anything like it. Our guide Ken, was very knowledgeable, friendly and not only took pictures for everyone in group but also showed us how to set our cameras for amazing photos. Highly recommend. And, for those who are claustrophobic, there is plenty of light coming through the canyon and it feels much more open than I thought it would. Afterwards head over to Horseshoe Bend. It’s only about 6 miles away and just beautiful and so worth the $10 entry fee. Park car in lot and walk about 3/4 of a mile to the actual Horseshoe Bend but then you can also walk to many other areas for even more stunning views. Bring water - even in the cooler months.
