We met our group outside Shimmel's Knish and were soon ushered inside- our tour guide was friendly, knowledgable, and visited with everyone during the tour. It was an easy amount of walking (probably 12 blocks over the course of the tour) and we enjoyed all the stops. I think they could have been a bit more generous with the food on a few of the stops (Russ & Daughter and Donuts- as both of those were literally like 2 bites each) but the pastrami at Katz was very generous (and delicious!) as was the seving at the Thai-Indian restaurant- although that food may not be as appealing to folks if they don't like ethnic food. My teen daughter liked this tour better than another one we did- this one was a bit less history/lecture-y- but still very informative. Very pleased we selected this tour-

We really enjoyed this which we booked through Trip Advisor. Our guide, Alec, was very knowledgeable and we went to places and tried food we would never have done on our own. I thought it was excellent value for money. Recommended.
