Celebrate southeast Alaska's rich logging history on this rip-roaring good time with quality entertainment for all ages! First join the crowd and cheer as you watch the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show. The show is followed by a once in a lifetime chance to learn how to throw a double bit axe! Alaska's frontier lumberjacks battle British Columbia's premier woodsmen in a no-holds-barred competition for the title of "Bull of the Woods". Watch these world champion athletes compete in chopping, sawing, axe throwing, log rolling and a thrilling 50-foot tree climb while your host delights with lumberjack lore. Then the fun continues as you compete in a thrilling Axe Throwing Competition. You'll learn the art of throwing a 5lb double bit axe, and then after a little practice you will go head to head in a competition against other participants.

Don’t be deterred by the crowd waiting to enter…once the doors open people are efficiently and quickly moved inside. The show is fun, engaging and shows a lot about the life of lumberjacks. Lots of audience participation and heaps of laughs. Good value. Go prepared if it is cold or wet weather…audience members are partly exposed to the elements.

We loved the show, these are real lumberjacks. We had limited time in Ketchikan (we were on a cruise ship). or we would have done the crab feast also. Would recommend the show and next we will do the meal too.

Very entertaining. Did not realize these young men competed collegiately in these difficult sports. They made it entertaining for young and old alike
