We took this tour while on an Hawaiian cruise. It was wonderful. James was an extremely attentive, knowledgeable guide. It was our anniversary and he surprised us with 2 gifts at 2 different stops. We loved seeing Hawaii through his eyes. The waterfalls were AMAZING!!! A must do trip!!!

We took a pleasant walk through the rain forest and were able to view several waterfalls. The crowd wasn't bad and the walk is about a half a mile. Park on the street before the parking lot to avoid paying a parking fee.

This excursions was the best one so far while we have been on our Cruise. ALEX with Malahini Tours hit it out of the park. Very clean & comfortable van. Very informative about Hilo and Kona History. Very courteous. Numerous interesting stops and plenty of time for each. Picked up and dropped off right at the pier. Hands down an awesome tour!!!
