I lived in this area since 2003 and I (foolishly) never did this experience. We embarked on a pontoon and were happily helped to get all our items on from the friendly staff. The tour guide who came along was named Sandy and I never saw someone who seemed to love their job more. Sandy knew everything about each island, house, or fact about Manatees you could ever ask for. She made this beautiful and scenic adventure even that much more enjoyable by showing us the best spots to snorkel with the Manatees and springs that I can only describe as ‘paradise’. The 8 hour day went so quickly due to us having so much fun and we all definitely want to do this day again! If you’re in the area this is a must! You’ll be extremely pleased.

My daughter and I participated in a tour with Captain Ross and Ryan as the guide and photographer. We encounter a small group of manatees right in front of the resort and spend over one hour observing and interacting with these wonderful gentle creatures. We then went to Crystal River's 3 Sisters springs for a swim in these crystal-clear waters. Both Captain Ross and Ryan were extremely knowledgeable of the flora and fauna of the area and had great stories to tell about the manatees and their behaviors. We had a blast and highly recommend this tour.

We booked the manatee snorkeling tour with these guys, and although it wasn't manatee season they still found a few of the local residents for us to swim with. The facilities and the boat were great, but most importantly the staff were amazing. I feel like its the people that really make or break a tour like this - Cory and Christian were AMAZING. I went with my parents (both in their 70s), and my mother is scared of water after being drowned as a kid. Corey spent so much time in the water with her, including at one point just throwing her on his back while he swam to a better viewing area. She not only swam around with the manatees, he gave her enough confidence to put her head under the water with a snorkel and actually see one! The cute little noises coming out of my mums snorkle tube in that moment were unforgettable, she went from nervous to super excited as soon as she saw the manatee. Thank you guys, not only for showing us a great time, but for helping my mum with her huge fear of water!
