Our family flew to NYC to celebrate our son's 19th birthday and since we had all been typical sight-seeing "tourists" on previous trips, we thought a walking tour would be a great way to get a feel for the area and begin our weekend. We had no idea how much we would see and learn in just a few hours with Andrew!!!! He met us at our hotel and our adventure began! We rode the subway, toured the Meatpacking District and Greenwich Village and 1000s of steps later, felt more comfortable in NYC than we could have ever imagined! We made fun stops to try the sushi in Chelsea Market, walked on the High Line and grabbed a quick slice of pizza at "Joe's"!!! We saw neighborhoods brought back from uncertain times, beautiful architecture and cobblestone roads. Walking with Andrew was like strolling around with a friend and his love and knowledge of NYC made our trip!! This was an experience like no other and now we wouldn't want to see NYC any other way! On our next trip we will sign up to walk thru Brooklyn!! Don't miss this opportunity to become a part of this fabulous city, even just for a few hours!! Thanks Andrew, we hope to see you again!!!

My husband and I took a private walking tour with Andrew from Streetwise New York Tours a few weeks ago. Though I am originally a New Yorker, we explored parts of Brooklyn that I wasn't familiar with. Our time with Andrew and our walking tour was a highlight of our visit to NY. This is a company to strongly consider when you are making plans to visit NY or one to use even if you live in NY and want to explore a new area of the city!

I recently went on the Brooklyn walk with Sonya and the City Hall, SoHo and Little Italy walk Dan. Both of these were fantastic walks, delivered in a relaxed manner. Dan and Sonya were great guides and offered interesting local knowledge that you wouldn't find in a guide book. I would highly recommend anyone visiting New York to go on a Streetwise Tour, I thought it was the best way to see and learn about the city!
