This experience was fascinating. We not only walked through one of the oldest and dynamic places in the United States but Andrew our tour guide had a great historical background for everywhere we went. Highly recommend StreetWise

We had limited time in New York as we were on a transatlantic cruise with NY being a highlight stop. After reading reviews and recommendations, I contacted Dan who suggested some ideas for a personal tour based on the list of places we wanted to see. Dan was very helpful and prompt at replying to emails. Our tour was booked for 3 hours and our guide for the day was David, who we met at Grand Central. We found David to be extremely knowledgeable, amiable and good fun. We set off on our personalized tour and covered some amazing places; with David telling us all about history of buildings, quirkiness and facts. We cut through side-alleys, half-streets, hotel lobbies and covered a lot of ground. It was great having someone who knew about places you would just walk by and miss. We visited a few amazing churches that again, you would just walk right by. David was so easy going, we felt like we already knew him! We managed to see the highlights on NY and took David's tips on-board to make the short time we had memorable. We would highly recommend David and Streetwise tours and if we manage to get back, would not hesitate in booking another memorable adventure. Many thanks to Dan and David - you were awesome.

I've done a few tours of New York City and wanted something a little different and more customised to what I was wanting to see, so did a 6 hour tour with Streetwise. Greg, my tour guide, was excellent, very knowledgeable and pointed out so many things that I never would have even noticed if I'd been walking around by myself. I learnt so much about history, pop culture, local markets, great food shops to go to, street scenes and so much more. Highly recommended
