From the booking to the experience, everything was smooth seamless and easy! I will go into more detail, but in short, Manta Adventures makes sure that they give their absolute best effort to make sure you have the experience you signed up for and are expecting! And that is why I would choose them again! Initially the timing of the tour with it starting at 4pm and finishing around 8pm made me a little hesitant since our time on the island was limited and we wanted to maximize our vacation. But from an in-person recommendation to use them I chose to go with Manta Adventures against my personal judgement- and I'm very glad I did! Chad and Callum on the boat were fantastic guides and assisted with everything professionally and made it a blast to be on the boat! The captain explained everything in extreme detail and had easy-to-follow instructions for each segment of the experience. We went out early so they would allow us to snorkel in the water before doing the manta diving, and also it allowed for us to have an ideal position for the manta diving since there were about 25 other boats present. I personally did not participate in the snorkeling prior, as I am a frequent snorkeler at my home, but everyone else on there boat had a fantastic time! For the main event with the mantas, we set into the water and took our places. At first, a couple mantas swam by but it was not the experience we expected. Chad and Kevin did say this may happen, but if we were patient we would get the experience we were looking for. We waded in the water for about 25-30 minutes and had not seen very much, but at about this time is when I realized I was glad I chose them. I picked my head up and noticed more than half the boats that were there prior had already "had their experience" and left! And within the next 5 minutes we were entertained by the mantas for over 30 minutes! One of the most amazing and surreal experiences you could ever witness as these beautiful and majestic creatures barrel roll and dance with each other inches from your face! Something I will not soon forget! In conclusion, Manta Adventures was willing and wanting to do everything they possibly could to ensure we had a great experience. Manta Adventures was awesome! Callum and Chad were great guides and very knowledgeable about the mantas and the area. They kept everyone safe and informed, and made sure to support those who needed a little extra hand holding. The captain cares a lot about his passengers’ safety (it shows start to finish) and knows the best spots to see beautiful Manta Rays! We had a great time! My review as a family trip: We took my 11yo son who is an average swimmer. He did great with the crew’s help and a pool noodle (provided), but it was a choppy ride for us, it gets cold, even with wet suits, and it was a somewhat physically demanding activity. That said, my son reviewed it as “the best experience of his life!” So use your best judgement. 🙂

Wonderful trip. The captain and crew communicated well and made us feel extremely comfortable and safe. I was originally nervous about the dark water aspect and never once felt scared. The crew was in the water with us. Seeing the manta rays up close was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend this company.
