Ensure a manta ray sighting on this 2.5-hour night tour. Head out in Kona, one of the best places in the world to see mantas, to see the sunset over the water before jumping in to enjoy swimming with manta rays in their underwater nighttime realm. "Manta safari" guides escort you around the site with a mobile light show that attracts these gentle and fascinating creatures. Relax on the observation deck with unobstructed viewing and plenty of room to move around. All snorkel equipment, including swimming noodles and wetsuits are included.

You will be placed where there is availability. Please call 24 hours prior to confirm departure time.

What an incredible evening! I got to see the Milky Way and a comet as we headed to the snorkel site—such a perfect start! Once we were in the water, it wasn’t long before the manta rays showed up, and they were absolutely mesmerizing, gliding gracefully right up to us. And to top it off, a shark joined in, casually hanging out nearby as we floated! A heads-up: the wetsuits are damp from earlier trips, and the water can feel chilly since you’re mostly floating around. Overall, this is a must-do adventure—unforgettable from start to finish!

This was an amazing experience, just as they describe! The boat ride to the spot is a little long, but it’s worth it. Definitely bring warm clothes for the ride back and bring a waterproof camera if you want photos or videos to take home!

The 3 guys assisting were all sweet. The boat is AWFUL bumpy a bunch of people were puking it’s soooo bumpy. The captain was MEAN RUDE AND PUSHY. Do NOT choose this option there are so many better options for manta ray tours. I have done a couple already and this one is not the one. I can’t believe she gets away with speaking to people the way she does.

I am sorry to hear of your unpleasant experience. Ocean conditions can vary at times and most are not sure how their body will respond (seasickness) unless they spend time on the ocean. Our captains are responsible for the safety of many and as this is a unique experience that it takes place at night in the ocean, Captains do need to be assertive at times to make sure everyone comes back safe and sound. -Aloha
