Enjoy a 3-hour snorkeling adventure in Marathon Key at one of the world's most incredible reefs. Sombrero Reef is alive. It is a place where parrotfish feed on the living coral while trumpetfish try to blend in among its branches. The reef is protected, so you can expect to see large schools of grunts and snappers swimming among large groupers hiding in the crags and looking for a meal. The great barrier reefs on our planet are precious. Like underwater rainforests, they teem with wildlife and colorful corals.
You are welcome to bring food and drinks with you.

We did not stay at Captain Pips but we did go snorkeling with them. The staff and experience were beyond exceptional!!!!! A third party booking platform that Tripadvisor is using cancelled our reservations w/o our knowledge the day of the excursion. The ladies at the front desk did everything in their power to get us on a boat and they succeeded. The experience underwater was breathtaking and the crew we sailed with went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience. Overall there aren't enough positive things I can say about the Captain Pip organization and our excursion that day!!!! They made our vacation for sure :)

Lovely experience. Captain Candace and mate Cody were very friendly, personable and accommodating. Water was too rough to snorkel at intended location, so they gave us the option of canceling/rescheduling, or going to a different location. We chose to go to the small island that the company owns and although the snorkeling there is not fantastic, there were still interesting things to see and it was still a great experience overall.
