My wife and I have always been massive fans of the film "Jaws", so what better place to visit than the island where the film was shot! First thing to say about the trip.....it's a long day. We were picked up at around 6.30am from our agreed pickup point (you can select from many). The tour bus was small but adequate for the 40 or so tourists. We were greeted by Tim, the tour guide, who offered us snacks and water on boarding. Tim was great throughout the day, funny and informative, but not over the top (although his bridge jokes were a touchy cheesy!)
After stopping for breakfast enroute to Falmouth we boarded the ferry for the Vineyard as arranged. The crossing is about 30 minutes and on arrival we boarded another bus for the "optional tour". Once again the guide, this time, Anthony, was very good. Informative, funny and got all of the people on the bus involved. The tour was well worth doing, as we got to see all of the places on the island that we probably wouldn't have, if we had been left to our own devices.
On completion of the island tour, we had lunch at Nancy's at Oaks Bluff before boarding the ferry.
Tim was waiting on the other side to bus us back to Boston.
The trip was excellently arranged and all aspects, tickets, buses and boats were exactly as described. A wonderful way to see the Vineyard with no stress.
Well done to Tim and all at this Company....
P.S - We saw Jaws bridge and several places where the film was shot......we're going to need a bigger boat!
