Bought this app before we got to Maui primarily for going to Hana but used it first today for a trip to West Maui and it paid for itself today! It is a great app that uses the GPS function to track where you are and give you info on that area as well as directions turn by turn if necessary. Best tour guide ever in my car telling us places and things to do that we wouldn't have done on a tour bus or driving on our own. Plug it in to your USB on your car and four of us heard the tour all day. It is GREAT! For $20 we received a $400-$500 value today only! can't wait to use it when we take the Road to Hana!

We really enjoyed using this app. We went about 1/3 of the way one day one day and went back for the entire route the following day. Only because we decided to go to a luau at the last minute. The road to Hana offers beautiful view, trees, plants, waterfalls, a black sand beach, and a few small caves to explore. It is a must if you are in Maui. Well worth the drive from any starting location. We dive 45 minutes just to get to the starting point and we did it again the following day. The guide on the app is great. He is entertaining and we really enjoyed the history that he provided on the island and the culture in general. He was spot on as far as locations as well. I can't say enough! If you want to move at your own pace; fast or slow; this is the way to go!!!

We loved everything about this tour app. We used it constantly and learned about many great places to stop as we toured around. The guide was upbeat and fun to listen to and the Hawaiian music was the perfect touch. We ate, hiked, shopped, and swam at places he recommended and were never disappointed. He was very good at giving us enough advanced directions so that we were easily able to turn off for attractions. Sometimes we ignored his advice and that worked too! We saw things we would never have found without Shaka Guide and are now recommending it to all our friends!
