Spot green sea turtles in the shallow reefs along the Maui coast; See octopus and living coral. Look for colorful nudibranchs and experience the wonder of diving. We did a shore dive with Extended Horizons to get reacquainted with scuba after a 5 year break and to experience Mala Pier and the awesome sea life. Since we were staying at Lahaina and there are still no dive boats in the area post 2023 fires, this was a great option to do a dive close to our hotel (the dive boats are operating out of the harbors 45-60 mins from Lahaina) and just have a few hours of adventure at a reasonable hour vs getting up at 4:30am to drive a long way away and dive for a half day. Our dive master Michael was relaxed and made the experience very enjoyable. We saw over 20 turtles, squid and just missed some sharks when a group of snorkelers jumped in. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend Extended Horizons - very easy to work with and they provided all the equipment we needed in great quality and condition. Given the devastation of the 2023 fires to so many businesses (this one included), we were very happy to support these guys getting up and running again and recommend them to anyone staying in Lahaina.

We did 4 shore dives with Extended Horizons including taking a reactivate scuba course. Really enjoyed diving with them and having the more personal experience of a small group vs seeing other larger groups of divers with other companies. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing refresher dive with Extended Horizons. My husband hadn’t dove in 5 years so was super nervous. Michael put his fears to rest with his calm demeanor and helpful tips and instruction. Definitely recommend!
