Our most popular Haleakala Bike Tour for over 30 years. A visit to the summit of Haleakala National Park to watch the sunrise, followed by a downhill bike ride from 6,500ft elevation to the seaside town of Paia. A must do activity to complete your Maui experience!

Maui's upcountry towns of Makawao and Kula are charming and scenic. On a bike tour, you can enjoy this experience in an active way like no other. Watch the majestic and colorful sunrise from atop the 10,023ft elevation Haleakala volcano, admiring the expansive moon like craters inside the volcanic summit. Then experience a "one of a kind journey". Biking 26 miles from Haleakala National Park all the way down to the charming seaside town of Paia.

Such a fun experience and well worth the very early wake up. The sunrise was unreal as it started to break through the clouds and the bike ride was the perfect adrenaline rush to start our day. If I were doing this again, I would have brought even more warm clothes because with the wind at the top of the mountain, it was quite cold.

DO IT - You’ll love it! Yes - you’ll wake up super early. Yes - you’ll need to pack warm/winter clothes coming to beautiful Maui Yes - you’ll may not have been on a bike in a while BUT You’ll have an absolute blast. The sunrise is breathtaking. The bike ride is a super fun way to start the day. Nani and Joe took great care of us - and had us laughing all the time. These two are professionals and love what they do and where they live. I had a blast; 8 people in our whole group. You’ll start out early in the morning and end around 1030-11 AM ish. I’m a cyclist and had fun - so you will do! Thanks for Nani and Joe - y’all are the best!!
