The crew was really great-friendly and organized. The food was good as well. The actual snorkeling spots were just OK with only limited varieties of fish and limited amounts of coral. There were only a few turtles on the day we went. I’m uncertain whether these are the best spots near Kihei but they were a bit disappointing. The whale watching though was wonderful.

We had a great time with Captain Patrick and the crew aboard the beautiful Pride of Maui! It was the best snorkeling we’ve done ever since we were in Tahiti 5 years ago. The coral at Molokini was healthy and beautiful, the fish were so cool to see, and the water was crystal clear. The day was a little on the chilly side, but they had wet suit jackets on board that we rented for $10 per person (absolutely worth it). They were Sea Sport jackets in a plethora of sizes, and not smelly or dirty at all- everything was very nice and clean. Their snorkel equipment was by Sea Sport, and again it was high quality, which made such a difference in our experience. We do a lot of snorkeling, and sometimes my mouth has ended up with abrasions from a cheap snorkel. We boarded the boat and found plenty of seating, all on padded benches with little table tops in front of us, which we used for the delicious fruit and breads breakfast we were served. Captain Patrick set off on a comfortable sailing pace, so the wind didn’t whip us around, and he even stopped many times for us to watch the whales we saw, so we felt like we were getting a “two-for!” Between snorkel stops, the crew fed us a very hearty lunch that was grilled fresh on board. There were several families with little kiddos on board, and they had plenty of flotation devices for children and adults. The crew was extremely attentive to all of us, and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great experience. Thanks for a great day, Captain Patrick and crew!

From Beginning to end the Boat staff were amazing. The food was excellent and the snorkeling lovely and well managed. When we returned to the boat there wasn’t anyone there to help take fins or cameras though. That might be helpful in bigger swells. I’m a scuba diver so not a problem for me but I helped my friends. The lunch and beverages were excellent and OH the Maui Chips are to die for. The second stop at Coral Gardens was so beautiful and no other boats there. I got video of a large sea turtle. Depth in both were 24-35’
