Would definitely recommend this excursion. You can’t beat the views or the rewarding feeling of canoeing/hiking to reach those views.
Our guides were Mo and Ryan. They were friendly, funny, and informative. They knew their stuff and also made sure we were safe.
It is about 3-4 miles of canoeing and then a mile or two of light hiking. You don’t have to be in great shape to do it, but if you have knee or shoulder injuries, it may not be for you.
However, if you are looking to get outside, get some exercise, and get some fresh air, it’s the perfect amount of physical exertion.
If you want to see a glacier (and you definitely should see a glacier while you are in Alaska) I would recommend this tour! There’s no way to replicate the perspective from the water looking up at the glacier.
