First up I have to say that my husband and I are not ones to visit museum's nor do we have a great appreciation for art. However, as we were travelling to New York to celebrate my 50th birthday and checking out what to do, this tour really appealed. In hindsight, it was a must do - particularly The Met! Without a doubt this was largely due to our tour guide who was an absolute wealth of information. Mark's passion for art and history was astounding and it was very hard not to be captivated by this. He wasn't pushy and just made whole tour extremely enjoyable. We loved hearing all the little stories/scandals that were behind the artworks. I can honestly say if we had visited these two museums on our own we would never have gotten the experience we did. I would absolutely recommend this tour and if possible request Mark as your guide. Loved it!

We've done tours in the past, and the other guests can make it a nightmare! We were so happy to learn our group tour turned out to be just the two of us! Our guide, Jeff Dubouis ( I do believe...) was awesome! What an in-depth knowledge he had of seemingly, endless subjects! He expertly guided us through the two museums and was sharing "behind the scenes" stories and details you'd never know by just touring the musuem. It was well worth the cost. The only problem was the second musuem prevented us from going in. The lines were long and we were left standing out the freezing rain! When we were allowed inside, Jeff had to go wait in very long lines to get our tickets! This really surprised us bc it was promoted as a skip the line tour!
