On our Secret Food Tours: Little Havana in Miami, you’ll taste a mix of innovative and traditional dishes deriving from the old Caribbean heritage.

During the tour, you’ll discover Miami’s Cuban community history, habits, music and lifestyle. We’ll take you to the oldest open air tropical fruit market in Little Havana, where you can enjoy some fresh tropical juice.

You will sample traditional Cuban coffee and pastries. You’ll have the opportunity to visit a tobacco shop, learning how to roll a proper Cuban cigar. You will visit landmark Little Havana sites and end the tour with a traditional, family style meal in a hidden courtyard right on Calle Ocho.

This tour is an absolute gem of a deal. Natalia was my tour guide and she was absolutely fantastic. This is a great tour to do with family and friends. I want to tell you more about my favorite dishes but I don't want to spoil the surprise!

Natalia was my tour guide, I loved this tour not only because its located in South Beach so the scenery was amazing , the beach was just a block away. Compared to other food tours I've been, the portions on this one are worth the price, you really do get your moneys worth out of this one! The fact there was a variety of restaurants locations from finer dining, to more laid back mom and pop spots was a plus. Make sure to eat light cause you are in store for some yummy and filling food, make sure to leave some room for the perfect desert to finish the night. 5 out of 5!

There are so many surprises I have to not give away. Natalia is a bright fun, and engaging guide. This is not the first tour I have taken with this company but it was one of the most surprising. When you spend time near the beach you see a mob scene with loud people. Our Secret area had none of this. I won't give away the secret of the queso, but my gosh it was good. Then onto one of the most posh places in South Beach for, no kidding, fried chicken. Really good fried chicken. Take a small piece because there was much more food. I have had Dominican chicharrones and Mexican chicharrones, but you have not lived until you have had Cuban. Meaty and crisp with just enough unctuous fat to take it over the top, with a squirt of lime and a sprinkle of salt. I could have stopped right here and been in food heaven, but wait there's more. The Cubano sandwich, a really good version of this classic Miami dish. The Secret bite is a Secret, but it is Haitian and it must be had with the Haitian hot sauce. I thought I was too full but I made room. Key lime pie I could barely eat (I managed). I did the whole cocktail thing. I had been avoiding the south beach drinks from the usual suspects as even a martini was as much as 25 bucks at some of these places. So I got a little tipsy, but maybe it helped me to eat more, and there is much food.
