You would have gotten a 5 rating score about the tour but the bombardment of emails (along with text too) prior to and after the tour is off putting. I already get too many emails and texts as it is and then the 6 or 7 messages in multiple formats before the event was too much.
Send out a confirmation ONE time upon booking, at the time you are getting ready to charge for the tour before the event. Unless there is a change in the tour details (time, location, etc) only then send a follow-up at that time, otherwise DO NOT send multiple "upcoming" notification emails AND texts like you've done.
Additionally, if I were not in IT some of the emails would not have made sense since it showed your html tags between the words. You may want to ensure you have support on all browser and email types (I use Google chrome/gmail).
For the tour ...Claire did a good job. May want to consider having a closer stop between 2nd and 3rd ones. While she did give us ample warning about it being awhile and uphill, we still had almost all the ladies running to the bathroom on that 3rd stop at the time of arrival. I assume all of us felt we should have had maybe a closer break between these two stops.

We are thrilled you enjoyed your time with Claire and the tour as a whole!
We are sorry you felt we we over communicated the details about the tour. We want to make sure all of our guests remember and have an easy reference for any FAQ's or directions and they don't have to search too much to find that info. We wish this didn't lead to a 3 star review for it, we are only trying to help.
We will check out the issues with the html tags showing and we do have an upcoming route change that should help with one walk being a little longer.
