I found John’s tour mentioned in the AAA guidebook, and I’m so glad! It is the first food tour my husband and I have ever done, but it won’t be our last.
John entertained us with stories about Atlanta’s history and restaurants while ushering us to five locations for food and drinks. He spoke with great knowledge and affection about Midtown, his neighborhood for 22 years. I really enjoyed seeing St. Mark’s, John’s church, and hearing about its history.
The food and drink offerings were varied and delicious. I also found the tour to be a good value; we were still eating some of the goodies two days later!
What a pleasurable way to spend five hours! John treated us like old friends. He even gave us a recommendation for a wonderful restaurant within walking distance of our hotel.

Hi Edie!
What a lovely afternoon we all had! My groups are always small so that at the end of the day we feel like old friends. Most tours are 4 hours but we all got to chatting and strolling and laughing...and no one was watching the time. (No need to as we all were having too much fun!)
As a guide in my neighborhood...and representing the city of Atlanta, I always have recommendations for other dining options. Big city! Lots of choices! And I'm here to help!
I see many more food tours in your travel future. My sweet Jeri and I have been on 20+ food tours around the world so don't hesitate to send me your questions.
My best to you both! John
