We're Maui's only multicultural dance and arts center providing an inviting way to explore Hawai'i's heritage. Our "Migrations" costume museum and multicultural dance performance present the centuries of migrations to Hawaiʻi is colorful and memorable. Our intimate venue allows for a casual, informal learning and entertaining experience.

We had a fabulous time! Of the many Hawaiian cultural experiences we’ve had over the years this is tops. Unlike the slick commercialized Luau shows, this one exhibits the love and passion the Hawaiian community has for their history and culture, with dances performed in an intimate setting, presented with artistry, skill and humor. If you want to see and learn about the real Hawaii, this is the show for you.

This was one of the best experiences my husband and I have had.. we have lived on Maui all our lives, but learned so much at the show tonight. The entertainment was off the chart with dances from many ethnic backgrounds. The dancers came to greet everybody after the show was done. It was very personal and meaningful. The enthusiasm in which various cultures were shared was heartwarming. The Kumu’s vision of providing a cultural center is now a reality. Everyone can learn something by visiting this special place. It was a surely a night to remember. We will definitely be back!!

I took my family to the "Migrations" Dance Spectacular, and it was such a fun experience! The crafts were a hit with my kids, who loved making their own keepsakes. The guided tour deepened our understanding of the diverse influences in Hawaiian culture. The dance performance was enchanting; the talent of the performers WOWed us and kept us smiling! It's a fantastic way to bond as a family while learning about the cultural heritage of Hawaii. A must-do for anyone on the island!
