Shayna was the most incredible Raft guide I’ve ever experienced in over 25 years of commercial rafting all over the world. She was a delightful guide, a master of boating, and an amazing human. After she loaded the raft at the put in, she saw a deer nearby struggling to give birth. Shayna ran over and helped delivered a breached baby deer. She stayed by to make sure they were okay and then returned to the boat to deliver the safety speech. We got on the river and it was a beautiful, clear day. After a few moments, we noticed another boat struggling-a child was falling out of another company’s raft! Shana swiftly guided us over to their boat and used her paddle to nudge the toddler back in the boat safely. Back to the trip. After the family flipper Rapids, Shayna noticed a family picnicking along the river with their adorable little Chihuahua. As she pointed it out to us, we all watched in horror has a golden eagle came and swooped it up high in the sky. Shayna steered the raft towards the shore and jumped out whilst securing the raft with lightening speed. She ran up the hill faster than Usain Bolt and lept into the air about 100 yards, snatched the Chihuahua from the eagle’s talons, then landed safely in the brush. Everyone on the river cheered as she returned the chihuahua, unharmed, to the grateful family. Shayna rushed back to the trip. As she was making her way back to the raft, she found herself between a bear and her cubs. The bear chased her back down the hill to the river. She ran the bank as she yelled “All forward! Go! Go!!” She stopped to punch the bear in the face before jumping into the boat and guiding us to safety. As we rowed for our lives, a mountain lion jumped out of a tree and attacked the bear. Shayna yelled out her commands, while we were all frozen in shock, staring at vicious battle. She shook us one by one until we were a paddling as hard and as fast as we could. The rest of the trip was smooth sailing. When we got to the take-out we saw the most vibrant rainbow over the hills under a unicorn-shaped cloud. We had an unforgettable experience. Everyone had a blast and my family will definitely be booking another Milk Run trip with Shayna.

We had a great time rafting! This was our first rafting experience and our kids (ages 11 and under) all felt excited, comfortable, and engaged. The guide gave a great "tour" while on the river. The staff from start to finish was fun and friendly and wonderful with kids! We took advantage of the booties and jackets and helmets. Great family photos available too!

We had a wonderful experience going on the family raft trip. Myranda was our guide and she was the best! We learned a lot and the kids were squealing in delight. The views were amazing and we even saw some animals. The kids wanted to stay on the raft for another trip. Success!
