Well presented Maori cultural demonstrations. First some warriors paddle down a river chanting. Then there a Maori woman talks about traditions and shows a traditional canoe. Before dinner, there is a lot of welcoming talks, music, and sticking out of their tongues. After dinner, a walk through the forest to see the glowworms, then on to Rainbow Springs to watch kiwibirds. The kiwis were very active, and this turned out to be the only live kiwis we saw during our 5 weeks in NZ. A very full evening.
