Castle Valley is the poster child for western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a movie, TV show, or commercial. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do!

This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful red-rock canyon. As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall.

You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect plenty of fascinating interpretations and fun stories from your river guide on this mild trip!

Our guide, Abbie, was phenomenal! We had so much fun with all the rafts, splashing each other, great time meeting people, great information given regarding historical and geological sites, very knowledgeable! Thank you for helping us make great memories with family and others!

Family of four with two teenagers, easy float, we loved it! We went in July, so don’t expect the white water rafting. This is a great way how to spend hot July day in Moab floating on the Colorado river and enjoying the nature. The canyon itself is beautiful, we saw lots of birds including two young eagles at the river bank. Our guide Dean was great - told us lots of interesting things about the area and the nature. Recommend to anyone even with small kids.
