Arrived a bit early so tour start-up went off without a hitch. Tour guide (and driver), Lea, had to be the best guide of the pack! Handled the 6 speed manual like a pro and had so, so many interesting geological facts, area historical facts, and a connection to a handsome movie star the story of which you have to hear for yourself in person!
Equipment worked flawlessly and must be meticulously maintained to make the off-road trip.
Be prepared for some significantly rough road stretches. The "improved Schnebly Road" is worse than the Michigan pot-holes. :) You might consider sitting in the forward facing rear seat rather than either side. You may want to consider some light driving gloves with the rubber nubbies to aid in countering the "Side-to-side Hang-On" process from time-to-time.
Once again, other than partaking of God's wonderfully beautiful scenery, Lea was a true professional driver, talkative guide, and a real "Arizona Cowgirl Hoot" to be around. We are going again on one of many different rides that she told us about.
