We really enjoyed our tour with Devin. He was friendly with all the customers, seeking to determine what we were most interested in. He has a great sense of humor, getting us all involved.
He went through a brief history of how Sedona was settled, talked about the early settlers and even how the mail was collected from Flagstaff. Devin also described the Disney influence on the area.
Then he went through some stories about the Vortexes of Sedona, local wildlife, different types of poisonous snakes in the area, as well as a variety of cacti and how they are used today in cooking and distilling.
Devin took time to take pictures of each couple with our own cameras with gorgeous views in the background. We particularly liked how some of the red rock formations got their names, such as “the Bat Signal”, when Batman’s help is needed and , of course, “Snoopy”.
This was our third keep tour with the knowledgeable and friendly people at Safari Jeep Tours who are the absolutely best keep tour company in Sedona. Thanks to everyone at Safari Jeep Tours. We will be on you “Outlaw trail” tour next visit. We have already previously taken the Diamondback Gulch Tour and the Vortex Experiences Tour. Both were great and we highly recommend both.
