Exploring Tahoe National Forest is a wonderful activity any time of the year and at any time of day. There is an extra level of uniqueness and specialty due to this experience taking place under the moon and starlit sky. The reflective light from the snow illuminates the forest allowing us to explore without any use of headlamps. Snow crystals flicker with the light on the surface of the snow. Constellations and bright stars blanket the sky above.

We came on a peak night! The skies were clear and the stars were amazing. The combination of star gazing and information about the ecology of the Lake Tahoe area was very interesting. Highly recommend.

We were missing some stars and had cloud cover…but still an awesome time! Easy trip out and back. The operator was responsive to questions and calls beforehand.

Great experience, lovely guides, would highly recommend. Went with my mom who had to go a bit slower towards the end but had no problem finishing. Thank you again!
