Our guide was knowledgeable about the geological history of the land as well as the history of the sights. The waterfalls were beautiful. I enjoyed spending time in the quaint Hood River City to walk around and get a bite to eat. The destination of Timber Lodge and Mt Hood was the perfect way to end the tour stops.

Mt. Hood/Gorge Waterfall Loop from Portland was an all day fabulous trip! Stops along the way seeing the falls, etc. was very interesting. Peter was our guide and he was excellent. He’s very knowledgeable about the entire area we covered. We never felt rushed. My husband and I both loved this trip, along with others we have done with Oregon Tour Company and highly recommend them. Great timely service and very friendly.

Worth taking a warm coat and even snowboots. I ddin't expect to be tramping in snow on my tour. Pete was a great Guide and tour manager. Just enough chat and information to keep us occupied and personal anecdotes to keep us amused. I had thought of driving it myself and so glad I decided to go with Pete instead.
