Please do not pay this ludicrous sum of $ per person for this event…if you’re an art lover hoping to get an informed tour of murals, this is not the tour for you!
How this activity is so highly rated on TripAdvisor is beyond me…
Our tour guide was a nice enough person but they knew nothing of the history, intent, artistry, or any other background story to the relatively few murals we saw (25% murals, 35% non mural sites, 40% travel times spent on this slightly less than 2 hour ordeal)
Furthermore, the liability issues this operation is willing to take is astounding! The golf cart’s brakes we’re supposedly not working and so a block of wood was used to prop the vehicle in place whenever the tour stopped for photo ops…
Several seatbelts were either broken or very difficult to put on or very tightly and uncomfortableness fit around you.
Viewing recording studios and seeing other sites while spending a large amount of time zipping around downtown Nashville (more than once thought for sure we would clip a parked car) and seeing some non mural sites was far less than what the group and I expected.
Several of us later admitted to each other that we actually thought of jumping out of the cart after a while, this tour was so bad ( I’m not kidding!)
If this tour was $25/person, I wouldn’t be writing this review, but between paying the amount of money per person that we did and the guide really not knowing much about the artwork this tour was a complete bust…we laughed about how comically bad the whole experience was, but it was a pretty expensive comedy to remember…

The mechanical issues you addressed are inexcusable and have since been remedied. We are always working with our guides to further grow their tour knowledge and will be sure to address the mural tour specifically with your tour guide.
