This walking tour is a must if you live in Chattanooga or if you are just passing through. This was my family's first ghost tour and it didn't disappoint. Dale was our host for the evening and he was awesome! Whether you want to see some haunted places or if you just love history, this tour is for you. Dale kept my whole family happy and interested from the paranormal lover to the skeptic. We all had a blast and are going to sign up soon for another one of the adventures that they offer.

This was our first ghost tour. Our tour guide was Dale. He was very nice and full of great stories about the history of Chattanooga and took us to some of the cities most haunted sites. It was very interesting and informative. We got to take pictures and Dale was more than willing to answer any and all questions we had. There is a lot of walking involved but it was worth it. Truly a unique and pleasant experience. We plan on doing another haunted tour when we're in town again.

We did a ghost tour in St. Augustine while on vacation a few years ago and loved it. We planned a trip to Chattanooga with my parents and with it being around Halloween, thought it would be really fun and festive to go on a ghost tour. We arrived 15 minutes early and were promptly checked in. The staff and our tour guide were all super friendly. The lady that checked us in started our night by showing us pictures on an iPad of ghost that other visitors had taken photos of that were considered the three main types you could potentially get pictures of on the tour. We were then handed over to Maria to start our walking tour. The stop at the jail/courthouse had an interesting tale/history lesson. After that, every next stop had very little history. Many of the stories seemed to be second hand accounts from people that worked in the buildings that had been interviewed by the tour company and not documented incidences. A lot of the stops seemed to be near random places like parking decks because the city has changed over time, but were very dull to view when combined with a murder tale. We stopped at a local "hip/indie" movie theater that is supposed to be haunted, but it ended up turning into a 20 minute or more bathroom break...they were single bathrooms and with 20+ people, it took forever! People just sat and bought drinks and we weren't even able to check out the theatre or get pictures because they were showing a film. Not to mention, the theatre was locked when we arrived and it took a good 5 minutes for someone to let us in. Our next stop was a haunted tattoo parlor. On our way to the basement we were treated to a view of a young female getting a tattoo close to her groin region with her underwear pulled down pretty inappropriately; especially seeing as others on the tour had children under the age of 10. The basement was very tiny; our group could hardly fit down there and taking pictures was very difficult. At the end of this stop, a few people broke off from the tour and headed back to their vehicles. Our next stop was supposed to be the main event: the famous Read House. We stopped in the lobby and our guide told us about Room 311 and all the paranormal activities that had occurred over the years there.I was hopeful we'd get to at least see the room, but once she shared the tales, we exited the hotel and continued to the next stop. We stopped in front of the Tivoli and another story was shared. I thought for sure we'd go inside, as it looked very old and interesting but the tour continued. At this point we were an hour and 40 minutes into the tour. Our tour guide continue to walk away from the area we had parked. We decided we'd had our fill and walked back to our vehicles. Our tour guide yelled out "Are you saying goodnight?" I'm not sure if she was calling us out for leaving early or just making sure we weren't lost. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. We really expected more history in the stories and locations that seemed more legitimate.
