Musée de Broadway

Aperçu
We’ve brought together a team of internationally renowned artists, designers & historians — both from Broadway & the experiential world — to design the museum. It will be educational, but told in a fun, accessible, brightly colored way! We are going to share information about the history of the Broadway theaters through projection mapped videos, the timeline of Broadway told through immersive environments that will leave people’s Instagram feeds full of great photos and give guests a behind-the-scenes look at the making of a Broadway show by spotlighting all the jobs and what it takes to create a Broadway show. There are other surprises and sections of the museum that will excite fans young and old!

This was a very good little museum. It has a wealth of information about the history of Broadway and how Broadway shows came to be. It has costumes from various shows and quotes from playwrights, etc. It's self-guided so you can spend as long or as little as you like. If you really want to be informed, you could spend hours reading all the information provided with each exhibit. I found it a great way to spend a couple of hours.

This was my second time at this museum. I went in Feb 2023 and now back a few years later in Feb 2025. It was even better the second time. Lots of great memorabilia in this museum and it is meant for the Broadway fan. The exhibit of the Crafting Excellence: Black Storytellers of Broadway was sooooo good. I am happy I went back and will probably go back again. The costumes and history, even the pictures on the wall of playbills is intriguing. Highly recommended but allow yourself enough time to truly get a great experience of visiting all of the floors of exhibits. The gift shop is exceptional too.

The museum itself is very interesting and travels through the history of Broadway theater with videos and artifacts. I was disappointed with getting the tickets through Viator, however. When we arrived at the museum, we found out our tickets weren’t valid. Apparently Viator went through a third party vendor who does not work on Sundays. We were told there were no tickets even though Viator let us think there were, and had us buy them. They did reimburse us our money, but the miscommunication was frustrating. It was easier to buy the tickets at the door, and they were cheaper too.
