Our experience here was horrible. We had bought tickets two weeks ago through the museum’s website. When we got there, the employees would not let us in- first claiming that there had been a “misscommunication” with a third party ticketing company that sold the tickets for that time despite the fact that they were not open for the public
At that time (10:30 am). When I showed her that I had purchased the tickets through their website, they then told us that the musuem had been closed for a private birthday party. While they claimed emails Had been sent to notify the “misscommunication”, I never received such an email, and other customers arrived for their ticketed time and were also turned away. They finally admitted this had affected 140 customers.
The manager would not provide a real name, and only identified herself a “Gingerbread”. They did not offer a refund, but rather gave us and email address to reach out to. I’m yet to hear back from them. It was a horrible experience and everyone should be wary of puechasing tickets in advance. They clearly have no trouble leaving paying customers hanging. Horrible customer service, to say the least.
