This is a bus trip which leaves from Hard Rock Cafe, Myrtle Beach going to Charleston. It was a great experience! When we arrived in Charleston, we were immediately on a carriage ride which was amazing and very informative! From the carriage ride we were able to stroll the Historic Charleston City Market. Next we were bussed to Charleston Harbor Tours on the Carolina Belle, which included a box lunch provided by Teds Butcherblock. While on the Carolina Belle, we were shown many landmarks, including Fort Sumter. We also saw dolphins and Pelicans. Next we went to Boone Hall Plantation Tour. To visit all three of these in one day was a great and memorable experience! Thank you!

The bus driver picked us up at Hard Rock cafe in Myrtle Beach in a nice air conditioned bus. The two hour drive to Charleston was very nice, but you might want to bring a blanket if it gets chilly. The trip goes at a fast pace, with a quick bathroom stop at the visitors center, then on to the carriage ride. We were running late because of the horses needing to be checked out, which cut back our market shopping time, but that was okay. You could spend a whole day doing that anyways. The boat tour happens immediately after the carriage ride, and then you go to Boone Plantation. I must say that this is a full day. It isn't always easy to find a bathroom and water right when you need it, so pack an extra bottle of water. When you finally return to Myrtle Beach, you'll be pretty tired after a very full day. It was worth every penny, though, as I got a great overview of the Charleston area and all it has to offer. Well worth the money. If you have walking difficulties it might be a little too fast paced for you, however.

This tour takes you by bus from Myrtle Beach to Charleston, SC. Once there , you get a nice horse drawn carriage tour of a section of historic Charleston. Then you are taken on a boat tour of the harbor, and then visit Boone Plantation. Then the bus returns to Myrtle Beach. It takes most of the day (7:00 am to 6 pm) and everything is taken care of. We enjoyed the carriage tour and the boat tour but were disappointed in the Plantation trip. There wasn't much time there and it was impossible to see anything. The plantation house is very nice but you only get to see 4 of its rooms. There is a box lunch on the boat but it is nothing to write home about. I am not sure what it was , but we all felt a bit disappointed when we got home.
