Disappointed overall. Gregg the bus driver/tour guide was great to be fair and lots of good information as we went. Very disappointed with wineries, however. First one was the back yard of a road side tasting shop and the last the wine was awful. The one in the middle to be fair was nice with great views and a good host. Wine tastings seem to have become a bit of a tourist gouging exercise with tastings involving no more than a small mouthful of wine in each tasting. Found it a bit of a rip off…to be fair not the tour companies fault and just a reflection on what wineries are trying to get away with charging! Not overly impressed and would not really recommend…

Greg was our driver and he was amazing! So many fun facts while driving! The wineries were great and where we stopped for lunch in Sonoma was as well.

Really, the only nice part about the whole tour was the arranged transportation and B.R. Cohn Winery. The first winery (not B.R. Cohn) literally just looked like a shack on the side of the road. They sat you at picnic tables and in large lawn chairs. There was no pretty view and no vineyard. This winery outsourced all of their grapes - which in Sonoma is literally doing the bare minimum. The next winery was B.R. Cohen and that was the best and only pretty winery. They had a beautiful view and outdoor seating area that was also partially shaded. It was lovely. The stop for lunch was in such a cute little town. The last winery (Madonna Estates) was kinda pretty but also had no vineyard. The sommelier for the winery had us all crammed in this small room tasting wine and then we had to talk about it as a group and then we had to wait in line for our wine to be poured. We only had the last 15 minutes for free time and shopping. I would much rather rent a car and go see all the gorgeous wineries that NAPA and Sonoma have to offer. All of the wineries were basically in Sonoma. Madonna Estates is "technically" in the super lower part of Napa but Sonoma is literally right across the street. Our tour guide also acted like he was high for most of the time and didn't give accurate information about Napa & Sonoma. He also joked about drinking and driving?! All in all, save your money and rent a car and pick out a few beautiful wineries on your own.
