First time kayaking and this was a great experience and fun time for the entire family. Beautiful scenery too! Our guide, Cody, was excellent!

I bought tickets to go kayaking with my husband while visiting Nashville for our anniversary. Dan was really good coordinating with us arriving to kayak. However we are disappointed with our experience. There was no shuttling. Half of the trip we paddled against the current. Not suitable for a beginner! We were told before we took off that everyone needs to stay on the left hand side of the river. However, there was a couple that were on the right hand side that our “professional guide” was with almost the whole time. The couple that the guide was with were trying to race and the guide was the referee. Totally unhappy with spending my money with this company. We were supposed to kayak for 1.5 hours and were only out for 45 minutes. I feel that we should be compensated for this poor service.

Hi Tara, Did you receive our messages about taking you back out on a better weather day? Please let us know! 615-933-9402 Extremely strong head winds forced us to take a different route from our usual. It was more favorable to paddle downtown on the section of the river that is blocked from the headwinds. I apologize that may have not been communicated with you. I will message you in Viator under your booking and we would be happy to take you out on a better weather day.

Definitely the peace and quiet of the river. And then the scenery of the city from a different viewpoint
