Great interactive museum. Who doesn’t like to laugh? I’ve never walked around a museum smiling. Spent a few hours, left for lunch (limited options) then returned for more laughs.

Loved everything about the comedy center. Excellent interactive exhibits with lots of hands on choices. Creatively presented in excellent audio visual quality. Staff was polite and very helpful with guides and supporting interactive exhibits. Would like to see a walk of fame with new additions announced with ceremonies/guest appearances. The blue room was a riot but definitely not for the kids or the woke/triggered crowd. Keep this place edgy because true comic genius needs a forum.

Had to park a bit away but despite that, it was a great trip. We started off borrowing a wheelchair since my girl's foot was hurting so that was helpful. They gave us a stylus to work the various exhibit and a devise we could use to customize our experience picking shows, movies and comedians we like and would later help us use various exhibits and save them. Later they would email these to us like a comic strip I detailed and drew on their screens. The hologram area was down but I enjoyed the first area which had various classic items like a George Carlin exhibit, Andy Kaufman's Elvis Jacket, The Smother Brother's guitar, a Phyllis Diller outfit, etc as well as a video exhibit of stand-up comics. The next area has a tribute to animation along with a Marmaduke exhibit (the creator is from the area), interactive displays for looking at scripts, seeing the lineage between comedians (how is David Spade and John Cleese connected, etc - you could do this for hours), create a comic strip and the history of comedy music (they have items from Dr Demento, Weird Al and Allen Sherman). You can see an video about Improv surrounded by items like Garth's Aerosmith t-shirt and Coneheads bike helmets. They have Gary Shandling's set and items from Ernie Kovacs show which I found impressive. A lot of themed videos dedication to topics like Late Night, Death and Griefs and News to name a few. Downstairs was the blue room which is not for those who get offended easily covering roasts and naughty comedy. I enjoyed seeing items dedicated to Lenny Bruce and singer Rusty Warren. We then went through a part that had some interactive areas to do stand up and the like but some shut down due to Covid. We left through the gift shop which had some nice items. My biggest complaint was that despite every one that was represented with items, it seemed so many comedians were not. Still, they did a great job with the museum and catered to every era of comedy. Would have liked to see more objects covering stuff like Mel Brooks, Monty Python, The Muppets and MASH and that is just one letter. I would like to go back for the hologram area when it reopens and maybe seeing a comedy show.
