Forêt tropicale de la vallée de Nuuanu

Un lecteur jusqu'à Old Pali Road où la canopée de la forêt tropicale couvre la route apparaissant comme un tunnel.

Nu'uanu Pali

Une vue imprenable sur Oahu au vent. Situé au sommet de la chaîne de montagnes Ko'olau, la vue s'étend du ranch Kualoa et de l'île Mololi'i (chapeau chinois), à travers le banc de sable de Kaneohe, jusqu'au pittoresque Kailua. Nous en apprendrons davantage sur l'histoire de cet endroit et prendrons de superbes photos.

Chutes de Likeke

Cette randonnée facile à modérée nous emmènera sous la canopée où nous apprécierons les sons des oiseaux, les odeurs de la forêt tropicale et verrons les diverses plantes et arbres. Nous nous approcherons de la cascade et prendrons de superbes photos. On trouvera également des noix de kukui, du gingembre et des pommes de montagne en saison.

Pointe Makapu'u

Une autre vue panoramique incroyable s'arrête le long de la rive sud d'Oahu. Vues sur le sentier Makapuu Lighthouse, le parc Sealife, la plage de Makapuu et pendant la bonne période de l'année, un endroit idéal pour chercher des baleines.

Nu’uanu Pali

Breathtaking views of windward Oahu. Set atop the Ko'olau Mountain range - views span from Kualoa Ranch and Mololi'i Island (Chinaman Hat), across the Kaneohe Sandbar, into scenic Kailua. We will learn about the history of this location and take amazing pictures.

Likeke Falls

This easy to moderate hike will take us under the canopy where we will enjoy the sounds of birds, smells of the rainforest and see the various plants and trees. We will get up close to the waterfall and take amazing pictures. We will also find kukui nuts, ginger and mountain apples in season.

Makapu‘U Point

Another amazing scenic view stop along Oahu south shore. Views of Makapu LIghthouse trail, Sealife park, Makapu'u beach and during the right time of the year, a great spot to look for whales.

Troy was great! When he learned that we had already seen a couple of the places that he was going to show us on the way, he adjusted his plans and showed us different spots, even stopping so that we could get out and take pictures. The waterfall isn't a really big one, but it was pretty and it was a nice enjoyable hike to get there. Tip: bring sandals you can get wet. It was really nice walking around in the shallow pool at the bottom of the waterfall, but I did it without shoes, and those little pokey rocks were hard on my feet.

Such a great hike! We had an absolutely great day with Troy as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about Hawaiian history, culture, and plant life. We really enjoyed our hike and Troy got some awesome photos of us at the waterfall. Definitely worth it!

We had the most amazing adventures with Troy at Yabai. He was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Hawaii and the best sights to see. I would strongly suggest booking a tour.
