Jack was such an informative guide and super fun! Learning the origins of pralines, gumbo, jambalaya, and even bread pudding was so cool! And, let's not talk about the muffulettas! These were not on the tour but Jack talked so highly of them that my husband and I had to try for ourselves. They are to die for and I had never heard of them until Jack (my husband and I had been in New Orleans for two days by the time we took this tour and our native New Orleans friend never mentioned these!). Still hate the taste of olives (sorry Jack, not a convert) but still good. Jack's recommendation of the Napoleon House was phenomenal (they make their own bread) and they even offer to get the muffuletta without olives. I went ahead and tried it the traditional way and I still liked it but could definitely pick out the olive taste. I could write a book (if I already haven't) on the experience I and my husband had on this tour and it's all good! Do it!

Had a very fun time with our guide Susan and the good group of people that did our walking tour of French quarter with stops to sample the local cuisines New Orleans is known for. Items like Po boys, Gumbo, Jambalaya, pralines etc. was full by end of four and got good history lesson of the parts of French quarter we went through. Highly recommend. Yiu don’t go to the highest end places and have the best of the best but all the places weee nice and food good. Gives You a sampling of all and then Yiu can go to other places and try the ones you liked best
