We enjoyed this tour and would recommend it. Minus one star because: (1) the description says "you get a behind-the-scenes look into local kitchens". I don't know what this is supposed to mean but we never came near a kitchen. (2) we were at a back window of Cafe Du Monde for probably 10 minutes learning about coffee but no beignet. (3) we paid extra for "the option to upgrade to a small-group tour with no more than 12 guests" but there were 13. Minor point I know, but if you promise something you should stick to it. (4) there seemed to be a lot of down time waiting for food. We've done other tours where the tour was in contact with the restaurants about timing so the food was ready when we arrived. (5) lots of sweets on this tour vs entree meal type food. Having said all of this, we enjoyed Nate's tour and would do it again. The amount of food was great. Just offering some thoughts on how to make it even better. Not a reflection on Nate - he was terrific.

Laurent was very knowledgeable. His background in culinary gave an added touch to explaining the dishes plus knowing the history of New Orleans. My boy friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience!
