Rob was a great guide ... not only was he knowledgeable about the history of the city and its architecture, but he wove the two together to create a unique perspective of how the city of New Orleans came to be.

Thank you for choosing New Orleans Architecture Tours! The city has a very unique history and we are lucky to have so many buildings that we can use to discuss that history. From the Ursuline Convent (French Colonial, 1753) to the Pharmacy Museum (Creole Townhouse, 1823) so many interesting stories abound! Rob's tour is well researched and he added a lot of side stories that keep our guests learning new things while being entertained. Thank you for leaving this wonderful review!

Great tour! Learned a lot about the history and character of the French Quarter. Now I have an understanding of the typical types and styles of buildings and why they are as they are. Also learned about the key figures in the French Quarter from its colonial past to 20th century literary Mecca.

So glad to hear that you enjoyed your tour of the French Quarter! It is wild to think that this neighborhood has been around 300 years, and how lucky we are to have such well preserved architecture! We hope that all of our guests will leave our tours with not only a better knowledge of how to decipher buildings but also that the homes tell us a lot about what is going on in the different time periods. Thanks for sharing this spectacular review!
