Enjoyed this tour with friends. Chad was a fantastic tour guide, giving us historical background, fun stories, and interesting tidbits. Being from Louisiana my friends were not enthusiastic about taking a tour of a city we have lived only an hour away from our entire lives, but they were pleasantly surprised how much they enjoyed it. Made a wonderful day!

Thank you!! We are so happy to hear that you and your friends enjoyed your Garden District Walking Tour! Sometimes being a tourist in your own town can seem silly, but we are so excited it paid off and you all enjoyed yourselves. Taking around locals and showing them a side of New Orleans they may have not known about is one of the great pleasures as a tour guide. We are so happy the Chad could help facilitate such a great experience for you all. The next time you find yourself in town showing visitors around we hope to see you again. THANK YOU!!

My friends and I did the Walking Tour of Lafayette Cemetery and the Garden District in April with Karen as our guide. I loved the tour of the cemetery, as we walked throughout Karen would stop and tell us facts and stories about the cemetery as well as people buried there. After the cemetery we walked around the homes in the garden district and she pointed out certain homes and told us about them. The tour was two hours, but we went a bit over by about 30 minutes. Karen was super friendly and outgoing - a great guide for this tour. She made sure to pause in shady areas while she talked about each location to help keep us cool. The tour of the cemetery was about 45 minutes which was fine, however I would have preferred even more time there. The tour was only $25.00 which I think is really great price!

Thank you for taking our Garden District Walking Tour! We are so pleased to hear that you and your group enjoyed Karen's tour. As a native New Orleanian she has a plethora of knowledge and loves sharing it with visitors. There is so much history in the Garden District and in Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 that you could spend an entire day wandering around and not cover everything. The next time you find yourself in New Orleans we would love to give you a more in depth tour of Lafayette Cemetery No. 1. THANK YOU!
